Porsche Club Okanagan 2022 Meet and Cruise

With an early morning start, I arrived at Starbucks around 7:15am… only to find four air-cooled Porsches beat me. I ran inside to grab the classic, four-shot americano and returned to a dozen coupes. Quickly the parking lot filled and by 8:00am, about three dozen parking spaces were full. Some vertical frames below from earlier that morning; after loading a roll of Portra 100 into the Mamiya RZ67. All photos here taken on the Nikon D800 with Sigma ART 50mm.

On Wednesday, May 11th 2022 – the 2023 Nissan Z was unveiled at our local Nissan store. I managed to sneak in around 5:00am with the photographer I was training; the pre-dawn light made for some incredible showroom photos. Pictured here the 2023 Nissan Z in Passion Red.

Believe it or not, this was Father’s Day last year. I arrived at Four Function Autosport first thing that morning, to co-pilot the LS-swapped 350Z with Dave. We snagged a couple photos before the event on my digital (Nikon D800 w/ Nikkor 135mm f/2 DC); but the entire Father’s Day car show I decided to shoot on film. Unfortunately I lost all of these photos due to lab error at London Drugs. Which ended up causing their film processing equipment to be out of order for the next couple days.
